  2. Although this beautiful waterfall is not one of the largest in the country, it is one of the most beloved by the Icelandic people due to its location and historical significance.
  3. We will visit Efstidalur dairy farm to enjoy ice cream and also meet Icelandic cows and other animals.
  4. The Geysir geothermal area is truly impressive, where you can watch the Strokkur geyser erupt every five minutes.
  5. The thundering Gullfoss waterfall tops many lists as a powerful and mesmerizing natural phenomenon.
  6. After lunch (not included) at this tomato farm, we will get an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture, with a short and informative talk on the subject. In addition, Friðheimar breeds Icelandic horses, so we will be able to see and pet some of them.
  7. It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland's Western Volcanic Zone, which includes the Reykjanes Peninsula and Langjökull glacier, created when the earth moved over a localized hot spot. However, it is the one with the most visually recognizable caldera still intact.
