2. Nature of the site and limitation of liability

Islandia Mágica (islandiamagica.com) is a website providing information about and recommendations for travel experiences. We are not a travel agency, a tour operator or a provider of any of the services listed here.

All booking of tours and experiences takes place entirely through Viator (TripAdvisor LLC), which acts at all times as merchant of record and contractual provider. The contract for the provision of the travel service is concluded exclusively between the user and Viator or the relevant tour operator.

Accordingly, the owner of this site accepts no liability for:

  • The cancellation, modification, delay or non-performance of any tour or activity.
  • The quality, safety or suitability of the services offered by the operators.
  • Claims, refunds or compensation arising from a booking. These must be addressed directly to Viator or to the tour operator.
  • Direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the linked services.
  • Errors or omissions in the prices, availability or descriptions of the products shown, which come from the Viator API and may not be updated in real time.

3. Affiliate relationship

This site takes part in the Viator (TripAdvisor) affiliate programme. Links to tours are affiliate links: when you book through them we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This commission does not influence our editorial selection or the prices shown, which are always the official Viator prices.

4. Accuracy of information

Information about tours (prices, availability, itineraries, inclusions) is obtained from the Viator API and may be subject to change without notice. Islandia Mágica does not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or up to date at all times. Before booking, we recommend that you verify the details directly on Viator.

5. Intellectual property

The original editorial texts on this site are the property of Jón Tryggvi Unnarsson. Tour images are the property of Viator / TripAdvisor and their activity suppliers, and are displayed under licence from the Viator affiliate programme.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the use of this website, the parties submit, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction under consumer and user protection legislation.
